I am just trying to see if this has happened to anyone else. Does this happen a lot?

I was selling a domain name and it has been about a month or so. The whole time the site was saying waiting for payment and now it just says cancelled.
 
Didn't Sedo keep in touch about the buyer not paying and Sedo attempts? I thought the ultimate decision on whether to cancel (when buyer not paying) was up to the seller?

Give Sedo an email.

Could you please PM me the domain name? You certainly should have been kept up to date by your transfer agent, although I certainly think that a month is more than enough to give a buyer to pay. In general, we are trying to cut down on the amount of time we wait before cancelling due to non-payment, in order to waste less of our time and that of the seller who is stuck waiting to transfer the domain.
