Can you tell me which is the useless part of the sedo transfer process? is it the system or the person supposed to be checking it?

I entered into your transfer pages that I had transferred a domain on the 5th of August and was happily awaiting payment. Today I get an email saying please initiate transfer! what the bloody hell is the problem? are sedo's offices shaped like a circus tent? because they bloody well should be!

Thanks Joanna, the agent has now responded. He insisted the domain was still in my name and had not been transferred. I pointed out it was in the buyers name but still on my tag. so legally transferred is it not?
 
Joanna, how come your not an agent? If I remember correctly Shaun who represented the .uk division was.
 
I am an account manager in the UK.

As Shaun is based in Cologne we thought it would be best to have a UK employee covering the UK forum.

Sorry I cannot process transfers - I can only read in external ones.

But I can always try and help you with your transfer problems.

Is it not viable for Sedo to have full agent representation for the .uk market?

Seems to me, your put in the position of putting out fires, whereas if you were empowered to manage the .uk market, problems wouldn't arise or occur as often.

I understand if you can't comment.

A UK based bank account would speed things up. German banks are notoriously slow in processing transactions.
 
I am awaiting payment on a sale too. I have left 3 messages in the transfer centre. none have been responded to.

The latest update on the 17th is that they have asked the buyer to update the whois records. This was done on the 15th, as can be seen on the whois, ffs!!
The domain has also been pushed to the buyers fasthosts account.

So everything is complete. Ive done my bit. The buyer has done his bit.

Sedo have done f**k all for their 10%.

Poor (zero) personal communication, holding money.

It is just so unprofessional, and shows they take domain owners for granted.
