Wanted: Website Review Thoughts please.

Before I start populating the site with data / spending any more time on it. Is there any design / coding issues (especially SEO related) that you guys can pick up on ?

I made it using only 2 images for the design

Note: I know the links don't work, this is just a review for the design / xhtml + css coding.

My thoughts:

Header takes up too much vertical height.

Put the hext headings in a different colour.

Facebook Like should use image.

What are you hoping to sell most of? Make sure there are merchant links right at the start of the body text.

Good point, wouldn't it be too cramped if I lowered the padding above and below?

Any ideas on colour? Wouldn't want it looking like a link. Maybe I should make them black as opposed to the grey?

That would increase the size of the top bar quite a lot, maybe I should have a link further down (to the right of 'piercings') with the 'thumbs up' image?

Make some top ten lists, e.g. Top 10 most popular piercings, Top 10 Stores for Buying Body Jewellery etc etc.

I'm just saying make sure key selling links come early on in the body text. CrazyEgg.com tests back this strategy up.

Cheers, moved the 'shop' and 'book' to the first links on the menu, and that banner will link to the shop too, so they are right at the front really. Will work on the body text too. Also added FB button.

Well I wanted all the pages in there for users, ill drip feed posts in. How about 'drip' filling the information? Ie, slowly going into more detail on all the piercings?

Also change the "admin" name to something like mr pierce or anything else ,or just set the option as not to show the name.
Overall i like the look ,maybe use some keywords in the footer.
