Wanted: Domain Appraisal TheGreyhoundInn.co.uk

I have got the domain:

TheGreyhoundInn.co.uk

and just wondering what people would realistically expect an end user to pay for such a name, have already spoken to several potential clients who seem interested, one is asking me to phone him back tomorrow.....

My thoughts were high xx...low xxx, obviously I would like more, and obviously it depends on how many interested parties and how much they are willing to spend but just interested in your own opinions......

With 11 Ltd companies and 71 non Ltd companies using either TheGreyhoundInn or just GreyhoundInn you should easily find low £xxx even better still if you find a local one to buy it. Sunday lunches on the house.

If there are multiple real businesses with that name and no trademark issues to you owning it I certainly wouldn't be letting it for £xx. I'd be looking for £1k...

Some of the other domains they're using are pretty poor - a grand should be cheap to get on the 'real' domain for that name. Assuming it qualifies for .uk

Yup didn't realise that. At least its 90+ miles away. I wouldn't fancy eating lunch in a restaurant after the owner thinks you 'ripped them off for their own domain'. Guaranteed that at least one ingredient of your meal was inside the chef an hour before

I personally thought it was a "No-go" as a wide-ranging pub/club/restaurant appeal. Glad I didn't speak first

I did indeed sell it, low xxx

After contacting all the places with the same name I could find on trip advisor etc, I had approx. 5 that were interested, though 3 of them were only half interested.....so went back to the one that wanted a figure setting in stone, for them to accept. He'd already made mention that he wasn't going to go past a certain point so I went for the quick sale.........some may moan/groan but for a £1 reg and a day turn around it was an ok return........plus as a part timer I can't wait for the bigger bucks unfortunately......

Just to let you know, I must have had it for two years - parked and for sale on Sedo and even at one stage on my own selling lander - no parking income or a single bite regards selling it, so kudos to you and good luck with all your endeavours!
