Does anybody know why GoDaddy is just not catching or keeping up with the rest? I thought they had the most tags, etc..

They must have stumped up a lot more cash and at this rate won't be getting a fraction of it back as it's not catching the big ones or the ones people will compete in their auctions for...very strange

People like Denys have dedicated their lives for however many years to trying to catch uk domains and they do very well at it, they're the experts in the field

How seriously are GoDaddy and big registrars taking it? how hard are they thinking about ordering their lists? probably not putting a ton of thought into it

I agree with @Murray - my guess is that GoDaddy have limited technical skills for this particular exercise.

I just don't think GoDaddy are particularly invested in it. The auction price is peanuts compared to what they're pulling in normally. My guess is they haven't even bothered developing a script for it, they've just pointed their standard dropcatch script at it - in which case, they'll be polling the DAC first, and missing out on most domains by the time they get a response.
