Sedo
Again, let me congratulate you on your new auction feature and especially the 'reserve met' now added too..
IMO - The new addition will add psycological pressure to aid increases in sale 'close-out' prices...
Potential buyers have the clear indicator as to possible 'Value' &/Vs. 'ROI' at their disposal...
Well done!
SUGGESTION:
Obviously still early days but once established, will you consider adding a secondary auction marketplace?
An auction where sedo members can list general names from their portfolio for auction that haven't necessarily had an offer previously...
To strike a comparison: Top Domains (free) vs Featured Domains (fee based) - Primary Auctions (free) vs Secondary Auctions (fee based)...
Reason I say 'fee based', is that I feel it would deter the 'asking £3mil crowds' and help to 'weed out' crazy reserves etc...
Truth is, IMHO, the usual auction places are notorious for simply being 'dumping grounds' more than credible avenues for auctioning...
Maybe your broker dept. could also review reserves or add input to potential users too, to aid legitimacy so to speak...
Posted this public as I felt others may wish to input/comment on it too....
