He limited our scientists...

Basically he limited our scientists to a finite number of stem cell lines to research with. And this may be an oversimplification, but what the scientists are saying now is that most of these lines have gone bad and there weren't enough to begin with.

I probably shouldn't have focused on that type...

There are so many advances now in other types of stem cell treatments - adult stem cells, amniotic stem cells*, and even (crazy as it seems) the use of animal stem cells in humans in some ways. I just think its a big wave that has not hit...whether we use embreonic stem cells or not.

(*that's the other reason I regged amnio.co.uk - not just for the test that exists now, but for the possibility that we begin banking amnio fluid like we bank cord blood)
