Well weve gathered stats by the ton, and can conclude that the current system is nothing more than a lottery, where the winner is simply the one that can throw the most creates at a domain.
we analysed, bad domains, good domains, in betweeners, there is NO consitent variable, and despite what Nominet say, loading on popular domains is very substantial.
Yep, we are catching, by spreading our 1k / domains creates per daywhere we 'think' the queue may be, and catches have been between 765 us before and 193 ms (yes ms), we also have rolling pointers where results show V messages and our own not expired / renewed / registered, they are never in the same place.
Exactly the same as the DAC, those with multiples seem to be the winners (now with the creates), except now of course we have seen upto a 100 fold increase in catchers for every vaguely popular domain..
So, roll the balls !
Cheers
