Wanted: Domain Appraisal Some xxxxHolidays domains

ItalyHolidays.net - 12,100
FranceHolidays.org - 3,600
DubaiHolidays.org - 27,100
MexicoHolidays.net - 8,100
FloridaHolidays.org - 33,100
Croatiaholidays.org - 14,800

Numbers are exact match, local (UK) as according to Google. No idea how accurate they are - the France one looks way low in comparison to the others.

Might be looking to punt these as I've already owned them 5 months and done nothing with them.... with a big USA coupon site about to launch these just took another step back in the queue to develop

Feel free to be as critical as you like. I guess depending on the replies here, depends what I do next. I may try and sell here, or go hunting for end users.

All great big niches - masses of broad match potential.

High basket value in a sector that still has quite a bit of growth to give in terms of online sales.

Personally, not keen on .org domains though - I don't think they fit this niche and it will harm the CTR. I don't know what Joe Bloggs thinks though !

hard to say on the .org - we've got a couple of big sites on that extension (searchengineoptimisation.org, discountvouchers.org) and I have access to click data in those niches that show they are clicked just as much. I have absolutely no info on travel but I'd assume it would be roughly the same.

I've posted the Florida one alone for sale here, with actual stats from an Adwords test showing it significantly higher than the estimate above.

As American's refer to them as vacations these will be firmly targeted at the UK regardless of the extension, so I guess you could argue they are comparable with the equivalent org.uks in terms of value.

If that's the case you probably overpaid based on the price you posted when you bought them. I happened to see the price you posted in the post above this before you edited it and I think that is a very inflated figure, the org.uk of that name has sold twice in the last few month at a huge discount to that figure.

On the flipside, one of the members on here has cornered a lot of the market in holiday domains (he has loads of both the co.uks and the org.uks) and is looking for significant prices for them. While he continues to hold onto those domains he is creating a fair bit of scarcity for anyone wanting xxxholidays names and you will benefit from that.
