Lex has certainly got more money than me to spend on domains, but as it goes I actually like smsaproperty and so does someone else as they have the .co.uk
People list their property for £5 via a video enabled phone, an extra £1 charge for each photo or video sent, then using a private system - after paying a quid, members either viewing on wap or pc can contact the buyer with price or arrange a viewing. There's also an option for agents to upload their listings to create more interest, sms goes to them instead.
Lex, smsproperty.com is available but don't go buying it because of what I've said, I'm a novice. I'd buy that and the domain off you if I actually had the money to do the project as my estate agent mate has been on at me for ages to come up with an idea we can work on, but I haven't the money and also I haven't done the research to see if that service is already being offered. Research is key when it comes to buying or investing in anything.
Now quite rightly most on here probably deal in type ins and saleable end user assets. I probably don't, I try, I'm learning, I tend to pick up domains I wish to develop but because I'm having a rough time affiliate marketing wise I thought I'd take a butchers again.
I'm on my once yearly buying spree, I shouldn't, cross fingers, be buying anymore until the end of next year. I want to sell one first haha. But going back to the domain, a leaflet came through my door the other day and it must've been the longest domain name I've ever seen printed. longnameestateagentcityname.co.uk you get the idea. So if people think Lex is picking the wrong ones, imagine what you could sell to the plum who bought that domain, there's worse out there and they seem to run businesses - the target market....
Lex, keep going for it but mind your sky rocket, if anything you've got ideas and I'm sure there's a few on here who would let you look at their lists and give them ideas for domains rather than selling them or making them sell quicker.
