it's called an update, and it needed to be said, because some people don't want to place there bids in the thread, including another one via PM who doesn't want to post.

Then reply to their PM to say, 'Sorry, as per my opening post, all bids need to be in the thread.'?

Perhaps you could share your target (£) along with a running tally to encourage bids. Otherwise it's a bit like blind bidding to a mystery number of 'making it worth your while'.

Why so precious about prices and offers in all your threads.. just seems like wasting everyone's time droning on about your DAN offers - and its not exactly that much to get excited about is it.
