www.rugbyclubdirectory.co.uk

crudely put together by me and gets about 50 - 100 hits a week. I'd like to make it far more professional and have more features, but unfortunately thats as far as my site building skills go. Any suggestions / offers of help greatrly appreciated

www.rugbywomen.co.uk

a basic phpbb forum for the womens game, ready for next season. Ideally I'd like a better template more suited to the subject. But I'd ideally like to have this developed into a site covering the womens game with reports, leagues, scorers etc (similar to rugbyroundup.com)

Take a look at the various free Content Management Systems out there, most of which have forum integration too.

Spend your time building content not learning HTML, these tools will have plug-ins too to do various things (photo albums, etc.)

So type "CMS" into Google and see what you think, I use Typo3, VB, Joomla, PHP-Nuke, ...... there are many.

A little off topic, but if you want to add to your rugby domains I could sell you ladiesrugby.co.uk :)

Joomla! has a very active community development and loads of available addon components / modules / plugins. I would suggest getting to grips with a good CMS like Admin says, Joomla! is a good place to start. (biased really because that the CMS I use ;) )

Rich

Are the club listings provided by a database? If not, that's one of the first things I would do.

A club search facility would be another priority. If necessary you could use Google site search, but if you have the records in a database then you can have your own search facility.

no, it was all type in! Like I said, site building is not my thing, but with 500+ domains, I feel as though I need to do more than upload an adsense script on some of them !!
