Have you ever thought about using an eBay Shop or Yahoo Store? It's just a suggestion, I don't have huge knowledge of the area, but I would say the benefits are enhanced traffic and low technical overhead. I expect you have to pay a commission on each sale, but it might be worth it.

I would still then run your own website, just use it to point traffic into an eBay / Yahoo store.

Just wanted to put the idea out there.

Thanks Accelerator for the suggestion. Whilst in principle it would be a good idea the downside for me is no ownership of the site and the cost per sale.

I also get a return from ads on the site as it is so this helps towards running costs.

As well as the listings I'd like to create a community for antiquers where we could 'shoot the breeze' etc
