Okay, so I know the site is a .us, but that's because this site is just to practise my SEO on, and as a little task to see if I can get it to the top of Google rankings. (.US was only £2).

The site is: http://freeclubpenguinmembership.us/

Free Club Penguin Membership gets 90,000 searches (broad)
and about 3000 (exacts? Maybe I don't know if I was looking at the right thing)

Anyway, I'm still mid creation, but what do you think so far? Will it work? Is it a waste of time?

I'm up for some constructive criticism, so be honest, but nice :)

Surely thats a tm domain.

Anywho here is a few tips

Lower the keyword density "club penguin" is mentioned 65 times on the homepage (try for <20).

Optimise the title tag to something like;
Free Club Penguin Membership | Get Your Free Club Penguin Membership (much cleaner and shorter than the current).

Optimise your description tag

and a million other things ;)

Cheers,

WW

The section at the bottom "What you may also be looking for:" with a huge list of keywords looks really spammy

Yeah I just went back and changed that now, my understanding is that Google will see the overload of keywords and think it's spam?

Club Penguin is now only featured 19 times, I'm going to work on the description tag later, thanks for helping out a neewbb.

I'd concentrate on developing something on a decent domain extension that isn't trademarked. Disney own Club Penguin, I'd be very careful!

okay, will having a .us really make a difference, surely in america it will be ranked higher? Which is where 30,000 of the searches are from :/

^Was my logic anyway
:)

Are you just ignoring what I'm saying, It's a trademark, drop it. Trademarks aren't allowed to be posted on this forum. Try developing something generic.
