Hello, everyone! Could you please tell me is a .com domain name or a .co.uk domain name more appropriate for a local business, and which is more representative of the UK?

For a local business: .co.uk (+ need to own .UK).

For a UK business that has international customers (international search traffic is important) - .com

:) is it different in HK?

"When deciding between a .com and a .co.uk domain name, it really depends on your business goals. If your primary audience is in the UK and you want to emphasize your local presence, a .co.uk domain is more representative and can help build trust with local customers. On the other hand, a .com domain is better suited for businesses looking to reach an international audience or establish a more global presence. If possible, securing both domains and redirecting one to the other is a great strategy to protect your brand and cater to different audiences. Always consider your target market and long-term goals when making your choice!"
