Sexstation can be found on Channel 911 on sky and babestation, the content is free to access but is a lot more raunchy than any other babestation station, sometimes no nickers nancy is about and a lot more interaction with dave the dildo (not rodney) so naturally people search it out on the net, one night it had 70 visits but it was on redirect not parked.

The domain could be developed into something similar as the tv product so as to maximise potential or you could just leave it parked. I'm not sure how long sexstation has been running but I should think interest will only grow...

Stats: http://www.offersplease.co.uk/sexstation2.jpg - recent stats lower I think because namedrive do proper costs later.

I'm looking for offers that reflect the earnings over a few years but also the potential of the domain.

Overture with extension - 9
Overture joined - 7
overture singles - 73 combined

Looking for reasonable offers please. Expires 1st June 2008

PM with offer. Payment preferably by cheque or bank transfer.
Buyer pays nominet single transfer fee (£30 + VAT).
Push from 123-reg on payment clear, forms inbetween.

Oh and apart from the new long term interest in the domain from tv viewers, the domain (archive.org is down) I think used to be a part of a porn mag empire so has ongoing interest there too from lax punters.

First refusal goes to netpreference, after which it's first come first happy so pm me offers please or contact [email protected] on MSN Live.

Cheers

when you say you are looking for multiples of earnings, what are they?

It's a good point, when I saw stats at first I believed an average $1 a day, but going by current which is $0.78 and may still yet pick up as it averages out... (sexstation isn't on every night - see listings)

365 / 10 = 36.5 x £4.25 x years?

I'm open to reasonable offers.

Cheers

I can't win with you lot, I deliver brands and catchy and you go "nah" and "hmmm" and "yes I'll buy", I thought you liked traffic domains? haha

Are you waiting for 30 days stats to be revealed first before making an offer?

Cheers

Stats updated again

http://www.offersplease.co.uk/sexstation2.jpg

What you're getting is a domain which isn't only catchy and brandable and has worth but also over $1 a day average with a high PPC.

Over 16 days it's made $17.96 / 16 = $1.12 x 365 = $409 x 3 = $1229

Over 16 days it's made £9.77 / 16 = £0.61p x 365 = £222 x 3 = £668

You're getting the name, the concept, the easy recall, the long term benefits of £668 over 3 years for £500 up front now and a possible buyer in the future. but PPC alone will see you right in the end, it's an investment and I don't know why I'm selling this £222 a year income instead of another domain. PM and buy now, someone will sooner or later.

If the PPC goes up to £300 a year then I won't be selling. In fact I think I'm under selling it now.

Alright,

I've been told by someone that the name sexstation has been trademarked and that is why no one wants it. So I had to have a look at this brand new revelation and it would seem there is a new TM application as of last month. (the person didn't know this, just presumed complications because there's a show on tv on a channel named the same.)

The people who TMd babestation and who are trying now to tm sexstation, don't want the domain sexstation.co.uk and I have email from one of their employees stating this fact.

How do you fight a trademark? as I'd like to send a letter to tell the tm bods that in no uncertain terms should a trademark be given which entitles domain ownership.

Domain registration 1st June 2006
TM application 24th June 2006

The company doesn't want the domain, they've told me that, well an employee did.

Cheers

£200 to fight the trademark application, would it be worth it? there's nothing to say they'd get the domain, a lot of the the traffic might be from the previous owner and the sex site plus they said they don't want the domain, why do people get me worried haha I aint worried they don't want the domain and an insider there says directors would find it a pain buying it so I doubt they'd even go down the DRS route.

A bit stupid having to pay to fight a tm isn't it? obvious evidence that the decision maker should easily find shouldn't cost money to present.

how did they tell you? ie. verbal is easily deniable :(

I got an email, trouble is, they replied from a gmail address which I found suspicious at the time, I'll write a letter I think and inform them of the employee then it's all written record.

I still find it amazing that in this situation Nominet don't have an agreement with tm, the bstards can still try and have a go at me and do a drs even though their tm is after the fact. And the useless bods at tm may well still grant them the tm even though I already have the domain, it should be written in that they have no right.

I've not lost a DRS yet, so let that be a warning to 'em. ;) And if they tried suing for parking earnings, they'd have an hard tiume explaining away the existence of the previous website.
