Take for example this site I optimised for someone who is a freelance chef under the search phrase: freelance chef:

phrase: freelance chef

Granted if Dorset was also desirable to target it's a bit sloppy not to optimize for it.
Go for the phrase freelance chef and see how that goes

Not saying it would be that difficult but the bet would be more interesting then

He was saying how he had optimised for the phrase "freelance chef Dorset" with his seo expertise, i was just trying to show how easy a phrase it actually was.
I have neither the time or inclination to turn this into a full blown seo competition, just wanted to point out that this person was attempting to gain clients from this forum and charge for something in which he professed to be an "expert" when in fact he quite clearly isn't.

It proves my point, i made a post on an open blog and it outranks that site which you've supposedly done SEO work for! That my friend is a joke!

Stick to photography, you seem pretty good at that.

I've used an open-source design, i am copyrighting my content on that site not the design!

Also my design skills are not the point here, if i made a post offering to design sites then fine, i'd be happy for critism, but i dont recall doing that.......

Once i've proved my point, i'll remove most of the links relating to this phrase and will some small work on your part you'll reclaim your clients rankings.

No it would have to be a phrase that neither of us have a current interest in, although that may be hard to prove / achieve.

Also 2 weeks? SEO is'nt a quick fix. In reality you need to allow 3 - 12 months before seeing any real results for competitive terms in Google.

MSN of course is another story, two weeks in achievable.

Yahoo falls in between the two.

The site that you had "seo'd" was quite easily overtaken for the simple search term "freelance chef dorset" in the google search engine results as i said it would be when when offering you a bet which not only did you not have the guts to take but didn't even acknowledge.
