We are earning only €0.10 fixed amount per click no matter which domain name people click the ads on.

Is it common to be paid this fixed amount?

Thanks.

Thats all I ever seemed to make. When I moved over to namedrive regularly saw $5 clicks for the same domains.

Unless your on Sedo pro then dont bother with Sedo pants :p

I tried at namedrive but I didn't really give it a chance, but moved sexstation over and it seems to be doing better than it would on sedo, although the ppc is a bit 12 cents / 79 cents and I don't understand the big difference.

Although I do understand google PPC to a certain degree in that respect, perhaps someone was just paying too much at the time, regularity at 50 cents would be nice hehe

Yes far too many clicks at sedo result in 5p but to be honest you could sit there and change 100 keywords but it wouldn't make a difference unless you knew what you were really doing, I think these parking companies shoot themselves in the foot.

Thanks guys.

Not impressed with Sedo at all. Their staff keep insisting that we are getting paid a percentage of bid amount, yet that is patently not correct as each click on completely different domain names is earning us €0.10

Waste of time emailing them back and forth over such things.

The only reason we are considering parking with them is most of our domain names are .eu and Sedo, as far as I know, is the premier site for .eu domain name trading. Using Sedo Parking pages will increase likelihood of selling the domains. But won't do so if they continue to pay such mediocre click amounts.

Sedo don't just pay 10c per click - I see everything from 3c to 50c

Hi there,
The EPC is dependent on several factors including where your traffic originates, which link they click, whether they use the search box, if they click a related link etc. Especially with .eu domains, the traffic is unlikely to be from the US (or even from the UK) both of which are often the highest paid traffic industry-wide. Sedo monetizes international traffic quite well and your account manager can help you analyzing your traffic if needed. Maybe the link placements don't suit the domains or what your visitors are looking for so a simple solution, like a new layout or optimization can also often help.

In SedoPRO you can adjust the related links also which could improve conversion for you. Don't forget - the most insightful measure of a domain's performance is the RPM - not always the EPC! Again, your Sedo account manager can help you out with boosting your RPM.

Have a good weekend!

Still, like Azam I very very rarely get a click over 0.10 euros on Sedo, but on Namedrive i get a spectrum from $0.01 to $2.00

sedo

..I suppose it depends on quality of domains..yes i'm on sedo pro...and some of my domains are £2.76..down to £2.50...min [sorry..euros.],,I expect some to be regular 50+ euro each, per month....thanks in no small way to sedo software....but I plow income into other domains...and yes I have some old ones that only make 13 cents....z

Zee, I think your misleading the thread by quoting rev from sedo pro.. so how much do/did you make on Sedo?

The general gist is Sedo is very poor where as Sedo pro and Namedrive are a similiar level.

sedo

..last year before I was offered sedopro..sedo paid VERY well....I feel the increase payment income is due more to way you can optimise domains with sedopro software....but before I joined...I was optimising my domains..as best as I could..and with decent domains..all bought from scratch...it paid well...also sedo sold some for me...the only thing with sedopro..is the help,advice..[by personal email ]..and software....just read forums ect., and buy domains that you have researched...its all out there..'pro' is just icing on cake...z

sedo

how about sample of type of domain that earns that...low figure for me, I can get with my 'odds and sods' ..is 13 cents....z

I think it must be based on how much you use the account / being new etc.

I was parking on my own server using my own feeds before then, thought about switching to a parking service. Only put a handful of domains onto Sedo but everything resulted in 10e.

Theres obviously some kind of lock that Sedo uses. But, I would have thought anyone would test the waters before making DNS changes on hundreds of domains.

Still, whos going to stick around waiting.

sedo

no need to make DNS changes. I am with 123reg..just point to sedoparking.com/my domain...just takes 1 min....z

sedoparking.com

Expiration Date: 18-Sep-2006

do you think it is on "auto-renew" ?

I hate doing things over a web based interface, time outs, page reloads, click this click that.. much rather knock out a bulk pgp email directly to Nominet.

Hey you must be the only one that dosent mind 121reg have no bulk features :(

Hi Guys,

Good thread, good discussion. The above comment caught my eye because it's indicative of what a few of you are saying about the earnings. denchomsky et al, I would be happy to take a look at your account and we can discuss why your earnings levels might be where they are, as there are probably other reasons for this than us just arbitrarily deciding to underpay you. Zee brings up a valid point because click values anywhere you go will differ across a range wider than the suggested .01 to 10.

For many of you, it may just be an issue of optimization. Our previous post discussed visitor behavior as one of the factors contributing to earnings per click. Better targeted ads will lead to more clicks on those ads--instead of on the related links and web search for example.

At any rate, PM us and we're happy to help with this...

Best, Jakob
