Hi,

Having just been very disappointed with the results of my first real attempt at out-sourcing SEO (off shore) I would like to see if anyone here would like to chat about the opportunity or recommend someone.

Due to time restraints, I need someone to be my SEO consultant (doer!). Most of this will be off site / link building and this will mostly be for travel (affiliate) sites. There are all sorts of other jobs for anyone with the skills and inclination, from content creation to logo design.

Open to offers from anyone that would like to do this, hopefully on a long term basis. You will of course be home based - I don't need any meetings, face-time, an account manager or any of that.

Bonuses paid for great work !

Thanks,

Rob

Hello Rob,

I am just busy finishing up some other content and when complete can make content at £1.50/100 words if you were interested.

Also, I can do logo design etc. at £15/hr.

Best wishes,

Philip.

Rob,

Can you pm me your email so I can show you what I've done and how I could help?

Regards,

Khalid

Be very careful get reference from users not just portfolio sites etc.

Can vouch for kal above btw.... I taught him all he knows ;) *ducks*

...horseshit but thanks for the vouch.

I can vouch for you too, but only for making a good cup of coffee

Also interested in outsourcing link building/SEO on about 10 of my sites, budget of low to mid £XXX, will need references and examples.

Many thanks

I work for a large marketing agency as head of SEO. I can tell you right now anyone who says they can do SEO for £50 a site a month is going to take your money and run.

10 sites at mid £xxx (£500) = £50 per site

For that budget I would (actually I do need to see the lie of the land, e.g domain name, on page seo, competition onpage 1, keywords) guess you should choose 2 domains and do seo for 1 domain a month then swap.

The resource , money is going to be better spent this way.

Sending this message via my phone , very tricky so appogise if it makes no sense / full of errors - can't see all the screen at once!

If you want me to give a talk on why this is a fact then pm me with your phone number. More than happy to advise you at no cost.

I missed off a vital part of that post! That was my budget per site. Obviously I would prefer to spend more on some sites I feel have potential than others, and less on those that don't.

What would you say is a reasonable amount to spend on seo/promotion for a mini site with little competition with an aim to be ranking in the top half of the first page of google within a few months?

Personally I charge a minimum of £300 a month for pure link building, with no fixed contract or minimum term.

For that you can expect about 20 permanent links from a variety of sources with a minimum PR3.

This includes high pr directories (the ones that work), article submissions (platinum author account) and blogs.

I do SEO for a few folk on here and have had some good results. It is also what I do full time for a double glazing firm.

I'm no "guru", I often share tips and tricks and ask others in my field for advice as SEO requires continual learning and refinement.

That's me though :)

Might get away with achiving these goals in 1 or 2 months then as long the competiton dont start any SEO to counteract then there is no reason why you shouldnt stay there with very minium effort. In the past I have put in 10 links to a page and nothing thereafter and still today it ranks. Others take time and a lot more effort and 1000's of good links just to get to page 1. Its impossible to say without looking at the both competiton and your current seo - onpage and off page.

Not to be rude but 20 links is very poor espically if your doing article submission.

No offence taken, but I said 20 links, I didn't say 20 article submissions.

People come to me generally, I don't come to them. And that's because I've achieved some results.

As I said I'm no guru and don't claim to be an expert but I've ranked many sites and continue to do so today. I regularly communicate with other successful SEO folk and we share ideas / tips / resources so for that price you're not only getting my time and knowledge but others too.

Friendly Opinion

We all know link building is one of the majot factors. No disputing that especially when linked from a wide range of relevant high PR sites, different geo location, UK based - It's quit an art. People are drop catching these days and spreading link farms on different servers to achieve this. Regular article bio links, Good On-Page, site growth, directories, forums, blogs and dedicated relevant support sites are also good.

I feel that a really confident SEO consultant & the business/site owner should focus on results and ROI. For this reason competitor strength, the plan to smash and realistic goals is key and not the cost of links. SEO and subsequent results needs all round attention for long term success.

Hope that I have not been offensive to any one.
