Wanted: Domain Appraisal SEO Domain - What's it worth?

Lot's of you here have seo expertise, so I'd be interested to see what you think this domain is worth.

It was a social media/bookmarking type site, so there are many inbound links, including some from very good sites, such as adobe, united nations, bbc etc. The name itself has no significant intrinsic value - it's an exotic tld - and there is some traffic value, but I'm only interested in the potential seo value.

What do YOU think it's worth? Would you build on it or sell links from it? Where does the value lie?

Remember, I'm looking for a valuation, I'm NOT asking for bids, so be honest!

Those numbers are impressive, but they smell spammy.
Are those links mainly to internal pages? Are they on one topic? Are they spread across a thousand different pages? How old are they? How long has the site been down?
Are they real, in-content links, or a bunch of crap built by third world forum/comment spammers?
Did the site ever have good rankings? Is the domain penalised?
Above all, relevance is key to link value.

If you can find a similar site it could be very valuable to them. If you have the time/energy/money to develop a relevant site, it could be a big boost.
I don't think selling links is a sustainable business model.

Build a genuinely useful site and offer value to users, all else follows

Depends how spammy it is and what you could do with it, there is most of the time something you can do with the majority of authority domains if it's got backlinks worth putting in the time into ( providing its not been marked as "pure spam" ). Such as 301's based on referrer so only the good links pass to the required destination.

I rarely look at metric based tools like the one posted...especially if they mentioned page rank or alexa rank. ahref's is my goto tool but rarely look at the materialised metric markers, I prefer analyse the profile manually and see if its something that can be worked with in some way, shape or form.

I'd say value is similar to domains in general, it would be worth more to someone who's got a plan for its usage in the niche that it covers.

Happy to run it through ahrefs for you if you've not got a subscription.

Thanks for the comments, some interesting points.

It was a bookmarking site along the lines of AddThis so links come from far & wide.

Google no longer states the PR score of a URL and has not done so for a few years now...Might be worth running it through Moz
That's my problem - I need a simple 'rule of thumb' indicator to help judge value, both in sorting what's worth registering & what price to set when selling.

Isn't the 'Domain Authority 75" above taken from MOZ? - I can't seem to access my MOZ.com bookmark any more'

I think that's the right approach for end users, but when scanning drop lists, it wouldn't be practical for me. I still miss Overture!

Check the Trust Flow on Majestic

TRUST FLOW = 45
CITATION FLOW = 49

0% Redirects = 93
70% TextLinks = 12,853,928
30% Images = 5,625,954
0% Frames = 10

Crawled URLs 52,982
Indexed URLs 55,215
Educational Ref. Backlinks 8,258
Governmental Ref. Backlinks 23,055
Educational Ref. Domains 111
Governmental Ref. Domains 12

Lots of numbers there, which I'm sure could be interpreted in many ways.

Those Majestic stats are very strong. I'd want to work my way through the highest TF referrers to check that the links were still live and get a feel for the quality.

It's tricky that there's no particular niche, as that's where an "SEO domain" has its value.
