Hi all,

I have an offer for one of my domains.
But on the offer page, sedo have themselves down as getting a 20% cut!
But their website clearly says they get 10%.
I'd reply to them but it usually takes 2 days to get a reply....
Any idea if there are other circumstances where they get a higher % or any other fees?

Cheers,

Silly me!....£100 is the minimum commission they charge.
(This is 20% of the offer).

Set your prices in Euro, then the commission minumum is 100 Euro = app £67

Naturally if you want around £500 for a domain, you say the price is 750 Euro.

Thanks for that, Dominion,

I've also got a few offers for other domains around the £200 + £150 mark.
Any suggestions how to flog these without giving 100Euros to Sedo?
(I'm new to this business)

Thanks,

P.S. I asked for £800 and it was accepted!
Not bad for a £8.81p reg!

Well done with the sale, but I would not make the details public at least until you have received payment, probably best to wait until the transfer is complete.

You never know who is reading these pages.

You're right Keys!

Thanks for that!

Seen as you know the domain.....can you think how it might be worth that much to anyone other than the company themselves?

No, it has to be the company itself (or one of their competitors)

That's what I thought.
Given that DRS is £750 + VAT + time etc. I knew I could push for £800.

It is the company whose buying it, and Sedo have the full amount! :p
