Wanted: Domain Appraisal Sedo value?

Not at all sure on Sedo but would like some feedback from 'anyone' here:

I'll pick two names, obviously this one is about skiing in the Balkans:
balkanski.co.uk Uniques 15 CTR 26.67% RPM 75.99 €

While this one consistently gets good uniques month on month but makes nothing?

ginfo.co.uk Uniques 93 CTR 0.00% RPM 0.00 €

Anyone throw any light on this or value these names??

I'd guess it's because balkan and ski are being recognised as a keyword term. Therefore the parking page show relevant pages for your visitors to click on.

ginfo on the other hand means nothing. Also the template for ginfo is the sedo search box. That means visitors have to actually type what they are looking for before clicking the ads. From experience, visitors are reluctant to do that and simply clicking the back button on the browser is easier.

As for their value? balkanski may be worth something to someone however ginfo would be a hard one to shift.

All in my opinion of course.

I've got high traffic domains with only a 0.03% CTR. Unfortunately the traffic is mostly from the East and hard to monetise.

Thanks for this Dave I can see why balkanski makes some cash as I originally inteneded to have a site booking site but never followed through.

The Ginfo on the other hand does mean something as I have a few of these they refer to glycemic index which is a relivitely popular term. However if the Sedo pages are showing nothing concerned with glycemic then all of these uniques are going to waste - I've emailed Sedo and as you let me know I checked another few names and although the correct keywords are set the corresponding pages show nothing vaguely in relation to what they should.

Worse then this I tried to make changes they were still serving up rubbish - ayone else had this?

For ginfo, you really need to find out where the visitors are coming from and see what they might be looking for.

The keyword you set in Sedo is only a suggest keyword to their advertising partners. The advertising partners still ultimately determine the sites keywords and what adverts are shown. Sedo are unable to change the adverts, you'd probably have to ask their partners (mainly google)?

Perhaps you should consider developing the ginfo into a minisite to try and monetise those visitors?
