Too many getting free exposure with auction listings...

Waste of time and all the more importantly - money!!!

Maybe that's why feet have been dragging with the brokers...

It's a bit pricey which is why I don't use it, although I see the category one is only a fiver but not sure what good that is, so this should be fun. It's the featured price that gets me, I find it hard to believe all those domains listed are paid for.

Hi,
i've heard sedo have stopped letting you just submit for auction via broker, you have to wait for bid of initial reserve.
Say for example you set minimum bid £400. The buyer bids this. Can you then send to auction & automatically plonk a reserve on, or do you have to email broker. One thing i'm still a bit fuzzy on.

When a name gets an offer - 'Offers received' - becomes active and you can then proceed to auction if you wish to...

Hello,

In order to have a foundation for our Auction system entries had to have been made through a broker. Now that the auction system is up and running at Sedo, any domain that receives a bid can be entered into the auction.

Once a bid has been received the domain can be entered into the auction, however please know that the bid price negotiated before auction acts as your reserve price.
If no further bids are received while in auction the contract to sell to the original bidder still stands.

It is a good idea to negotiate with the bidder on a value that you would not mind selling at before entering into the auction.

UPDATE:

Featured listing wiis.co.uk has generated 125 in the past 7 days.

Average CPC - under 4.5p at the mo.

On target for 500+ views across 30 day listing - pretty crappy IMHO...
