I currently have a domain BALLOONZ.CO.UK up for auction at Sedo
My question is, if someone types it into the search box on the home page the result you get is
balloonz.co.uk already registered Acquire it for me.
Surely this is going to put off the majority of potential buyers (it would me) as it suggests that the domain isn't actually for sale. I doubt many will proceed with the acquire it for me link. However if the result was to say this domain is currently in an auction and ends in a couple of days the likelyhood of someone clicking the link to the auction must be pretty high.
I don't understand the logic behind it when there are RSS feeds and the like to promote domains in auctions, why miss out on this trick when the searcher has already said he's interested in a domain by searching for it.
By searching for balloonz.co.uk on Sedo I find it very difficult to actually discover that it is in auction.
Is this how it is supposed to work or is there something wrong with Sedo or me?
