Wanted: Domain Appraisal Scottish towns .org.uk

Just regged for the first time some UK geos in the .org.uk extension, which are:

Stenhousemuir
Methil
Buckhaven

All have populations of over 10,000, according to Wikipedia. Not interested in developing these domains so would be keen to get some appraisals from the more experienced domainers.

Wow, thought they would be worth more than reg fee. I'm sure people from those towns would place more value on them. Thanks for your appraisal though.

I think they are worth much more than reg fee - £250 + seems reasonable undeveloped.

Thanks for your valuation RSK3000. Anyone else have any other thoughts? Despite having lived in Scotland all my life, I had never heard of either Methil or Buckhaven before doing the research so I can understand why doodlebug says they are worth reg fee, especially on a .org.uk extension.

RSK, I own 2 x Manchester town names on .com with populations of 10k and 18k and can't give them away and one of these towns is quite famous for it's music connections.

If you want a make an offer given that you think odd scottish towns on .org.uk are worth £250 then go ahead, you're a manc anyway so could be of interest to you ?

Well done on regging them.

I would certainly try to develop them.

I like the .org.uk for geos.

I have recently regged mildenhall.org.uk and developed it, I intend on building directories on these.

Im always looking for .org.uk geos that are free to reg.

Think I had better look for some more now, lol

No not yet, so busy at the momment

Had some good news though, got two people very interested in my directory who have a very successful businesses, one I know well, there partner is coming down from Birmingham next week to sort a business plan.

I knew it would be a winner, just need the right people involved to help make it great.

How are your projects going ?

Thanks for the appraisals everyone; worth a punt and thought I'd reg them before anyone else did.

Virtualwords - yeah, had a quick gander at your site; it's looking very professional. I can see it becoming visited a lot by the locals of the area. Good luck with the project. Don't have the motivation to create sites based around towns at the moment. Will be working on two domains in sectors that have semi-decent commissions whenever I get more time, one of which I have a genuine interest in so will be more like a hobby than a chore developing it.
