Hello. I have just joined this forum having spent time just reading posts.

I have the domain name science.me.uk on offer at sedo and have had an offer of £63. It is currently parked on their system and I have listed it as "for sale" to see what interest there would be in this name.

I think that this offer is a bit low. If the price was good, I would sell, but I'm not in a position where I need to sell.

Any thoughts or comments?

I'd say it's worth more than that. Somebody might buy it as a novel personal address.
You might eventually get low £xxx for it.

I would ask for £95 and not be too bothered if it sold or not.

If you're actually a physics teacher, have you considered selling it to one of your peers? Likewise if you're a member of any science organisations.

Either way, you'd likely sell it for more than £63 to such an end user, as opposed to some random domainer on Sedo (who'd then approach your peers anyway!).

Given your name here, I'd keep it. Should you ever decide to develop a site for your job, or even monetize it somehow based on your expertise and interest in science, it's likely worth more to you than the money you'll get for it...
