Wanted: Website Review Reviews please!

Recently bought www.bedandbreakfast.org.uk which already had a website on it but made some minor changes today.

Please let me know whether you like it and think what should be changed/improved.

If anyone has County/Town/City or Travel/Tourism related domains, please get in touch. I can offer you a well written article on any subject you want in return for 1 or 2 backlinks. The article will be written by a UK writer, not by me

I like the design Lennart, infact I like the whole thing. that is really a good job you have done there. Only thing I think you are missing that i would expect is the ability to search by post codes.

Agreed, great to see a good, simple design paired with a good domain.
Concur with GreyWing, search by postcode and sort by radius is a popular feature on sites like these.
Another thing, I'd format the unique content to 'justify' on the home page.

Just noticed that your availability checker doesn't seem to be working properly? Might be me but...
eg. http://www.bedandbreakfast.org.uk/booking/availability/71718/2011-12-08/1/1/0/#availability
Searched for 8th Dec 11 but it's showing availability for the 12th which isn't a Friday either.

I bought the website with that layout, I believe it has been custom made.

Thanks for your feedback, that doesn't look ok, will have to take it up with the guy who designed the site.

Get a different layout view with i.e 8 than firefox (could be my set up though) maybe the tp menu bar could have mouse over or alike ? (might make it easier on mobiles etc) What about local weather link on Bed & Breakfast Details pages otherwise nice clean and simple

Thanks, just tried it myself and your right, the site looks different in Internet explorer, another point which needs to be changed.

I might look at adding local weather forecasts, might actually be a neat feature.

Nice site, the blue is a bit much. Doesn't quite capture the seedy side of B&B's tho, the ambience, the fan of brown on the carpet where someone has been sick behind the door.

Thanks for the feedback.

So far the following changes have been made:

- Internet Explorer issue fixed, site now looks the same in every browser.
- Dates updated when doing a search.
- Payment issues sorted, Paypal used to default to Dutch instead of English

Currently looking at adding the post code search, currently looking for a postcode database, if anyone has one, please get in touch.

Unfortunally Google has decided to drop the site from the SERPS so will need to look into that, will most probably look into adding unique content for the B&B descriptions.

Really a very nice concept. I really like the clean and professional look of or you site. Home page is awesome and graphic and designs are also nice. I love the logo – cool.
