Renovations and ovencleaning

Why are you bidding on your domain, ovencleaning.co.uk?

DL auction sellers can't bid in their own auctions. If you take donate.org.uk as an instance to support conclusions, then you shouldn't do it as it was first and last occasion, while auction rules are still taking the shape.

Now anyone selling domain names caught with DomainCatch will have to set up reserve price if they want to keep domain name to themselves, instead of taking part in the auction.

Yes, the auction owner was informed he is not allowed to bid and the system has experienced glitch accepting his bid.

All bids are now deleted and auction extended by two hours.

More than likely they have seen this post and corrected the situation.

No, foz, you are not a messiah. Bids were removed as soon as I noticed them on DomainLore, without your help, thanks.

PS: if you continue to keep such hostile attitude, I wouldn't really like to see you among DomainLore users.

user banned

Instead of accepting rules, DomainLore user 'Hammer', or <name removed>, has registered under new user name and tried to bid up auction of 'ovencleaning.co.uk'.

I have blocked this user and blocked user 'Hammer'.

He is under obligation to sell domain names 'ovencleaning.co.uk' and 'renovations.co.uk' caught via DomainCatch - let's see if he honours this agreement.

The user is getting banned from DomainCatch immediately.

Bravo for your honesty Denys.

Yes I did bid on my own auction and was genuinely unaware I was in the wrong. I thought it was ok same as utterfly as I wanted to keep the domain and would then have to pay utterfly half. I never read the rules. And surely I shouldn't of been able to bid if not allowed?

Yes Rob I was previously Hammer (admin is aware of that) I had that id deleted as I was spending far too much time on here when i should of been working.

To be fair thats how I thought it all worked as well - but I havent kept up with the changes. User catches and gets 50% 'discount' etc

I think admin ought to provide a acorn detox programme...!!! :)

This was your genuine mistake, even though I explicitly reminded you in my e-mail from 13th of June that you can not bid in the own auctions and must set reserve price, as a maximum indication of what you'd like to pay to keep the domain name to yourself.

You were banned because as soon as I removed these bids and e-mailed you to make aware of the situation, you've registered as a new user and started to bid up the price in the auction.

Same email you SUPPOSEDLY sent me on joining domaincatch which I didn't receive either which I told you about (glitch?). It let me bid on my own auction (another glitch)
I got my wife to register to bid where is the difference between that and you bidding on the auctions?

such as you pre bidding on renovations? if it sells for £350 you get it for £175 I can't stick a reserve of £300 in can I so you have effectively shill bid it up to £350 as it's in your benefit.

I think oven cleaning is worth more than the £50 its at but due to low traffic on your site sellers don't reach potential prices hence why most bids are yours.
I therefore wanted the domain so got my wife to bid. yes i should of set a reserve but as i said earlier i didn't read the rules and by then it was too late to do anything. I couldn't end the auction early like ebay.

Stender, stop playing a fool.

Today, after noticing and removing your bids, I immediately e-mailed you and warned again that you can not bid in the own auctions. As soon as you read this e-mail, you went on registering under false name and continued bidding up.

And then, after being caught, you've passed all the responsibility onto your wife. Nice one.

BS. caught out how? is it wrong for my wife to sign up? just like all the girlfriend dacs?
I suggest you sort your coding out and your business model and maybe rebrand. These may be available-
