Redemption period of 1 year?!

Is it possible for a domain name to get 'stuck' somehow? I am after an expired .co.uk domain as follows but still it says not fully dropped.

Last updated: 02-Mar-2018

Registration status:
Renewal required.

I've never seen such a long redemption period... Any ideas?
