initial thoughts are mixed. It is not very specific to any genre (ie train tickets, plane, concert etc) but then it is also very broad generic meaning too.

Why not grab the .org.uk as it is still available and sell as a pair ?

www.purchasetickets.com seems to cater for all sorts of events in america, why not do the same ?

Or turn into a ebay niche site with just the general phrase "tickets" as the search results ?

A bit on the long side and too general to be really good IMO. Build a site with it as I'm sure there are ticketing AFF programmes.
