Possible dropcatch script scam

It has been brought to Simon's and my attention that a member here may be offering a dropcatch script, and giving the impression that valuable names he owns were caught with this script, when in fact they were caught by our system (dropsystem.co.uk - logs to prove available).

This is a complete lie.

I know who you are, and so do a few other very trusted members here, so watch your back. I'm on your case. I'm not naming you just yet, but I will do if needs be. I will never reveal my sources, so don't ask.

What you've described is a very low and possibly fraudulent practice, perhaps the member in question is deserving of a ban?

I don't see the point of this thread.

Don't get me wrong, if you were naming the person concerned and providing some proof, then it would be VERY VALUABLE.

But as it stands, all this does is give everyone an uneasy feeling since nobody quite knows what's going on (well, one person probably does - but this thread is in public on a wide-audience forum). And it damages the reputation of everyone providing drop-catching services a fraction, since until the full story comes out there's always going to be that "nagging feeling".

I agree with edwin. Name and shame or keep it to pm's.
It doesn't do anyone favours if they are thinking of selling their legit script.

And I wouldn't advise anyone buying a script on past performances alone. I used to catch gooduns!

What Azooza says here is simple: Do not mess with my reputation and my business with telling people that you caught some names actually caught by me. It could be boring, funny or tickling for some of you but he tries to save his efforts and money poured in his drop catching system for years as I know.

So respect the guy!

Note: I believe the reason that some old-timers do not post as much as recently is "this" behaviour of trying to tell people what and how they should post.

Joking aside I may be looking in to such scripts in the near future and would prefer to purchase of someone I was familiar with i.e someone on here - but if there's someone should be cautious of it would be handy to know

Understand why you didn't name and shame, perhaps they now have the message - but may be useful for us all to know who we're dealing with

Thanks turnic. Rob, you should know better. It's no joking matter. It is NOT Caz. I am not going to name, as the person will see this warning and I have no doubt HE will back off. I am not a rep-slashing machine, so let this suffice. Also, somebody is dishing out our drop lists; and has the temerity to post in this thread. I ALSO KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

All I'm saying is that if someone wants to sell you a catch script based upon previous 'catches', PM me and I can save you the money. Is that so terrible?

The script in question is also shit. Simon and I have seen it.

And I'm pretty certain I know who it is now and they are always pulling stunts but always waffle their way out of it.

I agree though it's very serious and we should all say abracadabra and hope azooza names and shames.

Anyone care to share the rubbish script? Could do with something basic for non-competitive drops instead of hand reg'ing them.
