Pornographers and their customers soon will have a virtual red light district reserved just for them.

The nonprofit organization responsible for Internet addresses on Wednesday approved ".xxx" domains, a move that reverses the group's earlier position and heads off a potential political spat with conservative U.S. politicians.

does anyone know the restrictions and where to buy this extension and the other new ones = .travel and .jobs?

You can register them at new.net but I really wouldn't bother with them, as i'm not entirely sure they will be around too long.

They are currently taking advantage of the grace period offered for .com domains (registering everything that drops then traffic mining and giving back the rubbish).
