Wanted: Domain Appraisal Podcasting.co.uk

Although podcasts have been around now for over a decade they have really grown in popularity in the last 5 years due to ease of access on smartphones and tablets.

Would appreciate your feedback as to how much podcasting.co.uk is worth today?

This sounds like a "how to podcast" domain. I don't think it's that valuable, because you'd have to sell to someone interested in building a how to podcast site.

I'd sale a good sale would be £300 to £350.

The trouble with this one is that the media are all over vloggers instead these days. The name is still very sellable, but has past its peak value imho.

I think its a great name. Podcasting is still very much something that is being done, and is still expanding.

Radio 4 recently did a 'How to listen' big feature. Almost all Radio shows say 'listen to the podcast' and then there is those who aren't on radio but still have massive followings.

Personally, I see podcasts and vlogs as 2 different things. Try watching a vlog whilst out running etc.

its now all video, still a nice name and I can still see it achieving high xxx to low xxxx IMO

Podcasting is still popular, don't get me wrong, but it's normally radio shows that are doing it rather than individuals. So the audience is more challenging.

Best thing to do with this domain is create your own information product about how to setup and start podcasting. Everything you need to know about how to do it. Then sell that.

Thanks to everyone for their responses so far.

In view of the comments about the move to video I may look at bundling podcasting.co.uk together with videopodcasting.co.uk and videopodcasts.co.uk(which I also own) in the future.

Either that or use podcasting.co.uk to promote someone else's podcasting product as I don't have enough knowledge to write my own?

You could create a podcasting guide site with links & reviews to other podcasts and monetise using AdSense

that would be my suggestion.

Its a nice name & one I would like to have in my collection if I had the funds
