Hello friends,

pls appraise my domains:

Jesus.info and Furniture.info

Waiting for your best reviews.

Thanks in advance.

I guess that they're "worth" exactly what you paid for them, because they were recently auctioned in a widely publicised public auction and therefore "the market" was an excellent barometer to determine their current value.
http://onlinedomain.com/category/info/

Incidentally, the results of that series of auction prove just how generally worthless ".info" is as an extension. If you take the values achieved by some of the best-of-the-best generics, and extrapolate to the bulk of .info names, it shouts loud and clear how little they're worth.

I think they work well for global services - e.g. jobs.info etc but the two you have don't work well, although Furniture.info not bad..

Jesus net sold 124,337 (09 +10) but mobi $1,250 (06) Plenty that donate fast sums to religion? Would they do the same for a domain? Evangelism etc is big big business but don’t think any have such generalization seam to go more the preacher / church name / movement name?
For mere mortals Monetization is tricky it’s the sort that you think would suit global snake oil sellers? Send 1$ keep this site online and spreading the gospel evangelist type “halleluiah “
Mid lowish x, xxx maybe higher end x,xxx if you can get two sinners wanting to repent.

Furniture tv sold $24,000 But prefer that to info (can see it as a 24 hr shopping channel ) the weaker TLDs with all the potential ones coming to market aren’t going to fair well and don’t think they’ll get better 3 - 5 k although can ‘t think of many if any developed and doing well .info’s

Dear members, thanks for your reviews.

According to the DNJ (Ref: http://www.dnjournal.com/archive/domainsales/2007/domainsales09-25-07.htm)

Jesus.info was reached $22,500 in an auction held at snapnames in 2007 and paid by the high bidder. But unfortunately it was not transferred and snapnames refunded money.

Now, is it not possible to reach that price again?

I feel, Jesus.info is a good domain to provide Jesus information, questions/answers, etc.

Waiting for your opinions.

Thanks.

They are certainly not the worst names I have ever seen. I would be quite happy to have them registered.

I will leave it up to others with more of a eye on the wider market when it comes to pricing but I like them.

Hi karpok,
here is what you paid for the 2 domains:
jesus.info $2,611
furniture.info $3,360
This is the reseller price at this moment for these domains. End user price can be anything if you are prepared to wait for the perfect buyer. These are not domains (and prices) for a flip.

Here a couple of comparable auctions for jesus.info:
god.info $1,900
christ.info $2,355

For the record I believe an Acorn member (Federer) is selling a high quality .info on Flippa at the moment. It's Finance.info and although Flippa might not always be the best 'benchmark' for the Domain market you can at least get a rough guide as to what people (I assume they are mainly resellers with a mix of end users) are paying for a Category defining 1-word domain name.
So although neither of your domains fall into the same category as Finance.info the final selling price will give some kind of benchmark on what to expect your domains to sell for and the prices mentioned on the thread so far look spot on.

Interesting I didn’t see the price it reportedly sold in Jan as a quick flip one? I hope they set an appropriate reserve most I’ve seen on flip seam to burn ?
