Wanted: Domain Appraisal Payday Loan Lenders Not Brokers .org.uk

Did some research on Payday loan domains last night and found that basically every domain with a bit of search volume was taken.

But managed to find PaydayLoanLendersnotBrokers.org.uk

1000 exacts and a CPC of €3,27

Planning to turn it into a site where people can apply for a payday loan from one payday lender, exactly what they are after.

Next to this I will use Adsense as a second way of monetizing.

Fierce competition but for the exact search phrase there are no exact domains ranking so should be able to rank it.

What do you guys think?

I wouldn't use Adsense. You don't want to risk losing the conversion to someone with an attractive Adwords ad.

Thanks Peter, was thinking about adding it on the confirmation page after people have submitted their details.

Ordered a couple of articles and will let it sit in Google for a while before doing any work on it.

not worth the hassle ,a consumer credit license and data protection is very time consuming and expensive ,they are clamping down on unregulated sites and the fines are very heavy ,i am aware of three people this month been charged with non complience for payday loans....so beware

I'm not aware of any cases against affiliates that have been tested in court yet? The legislation has no specific guidelines on affiliates revenues. If you hold data you definitely need a license but for simply referring people via a banner or such it's incredibly grey and I'm very interested to see the outcome of any case that goes to court.

If you just refer people you need nothing.

As for the consumer licence. Not enforceable and so why people bother god knows.

the problem arises from non complience ,not required ,if you use another companies consumer credit license (your broker) they have to be informed and complience needs to be applied,a disclaimer needs to apply on your site,not forgetting that if you are found guilty of a infringement your broker will claim they have no knowledge of you or the CCL number shown(which i know 2 people have been pulled on) ,if you are holding peoples data i:e via the ping tree then you need a Data Protection Act License because you are holding sensitive data ,also because you are pinging over many brokers one CCL doesnt cover all companies ,just be aware ? there is a change in the air ?

p.s also be aware that if you own debt related domains in org.uk /org extension ? without the incorrect license

when i was contacted a few weeks ago by the OFT it was relating to all websites advertising payday loans ,i am not bothered because i dont sell payday loans ,i am just giving you the heads up....

its just the blob heads at the oft trying to pull some money in

which is crazy coz if you ask them for help they go tell you to get pro advise

its difficult to infringe on .org or .org.uk as its a infringement on human rights

and as nominet has many times told me , org.uk`s we originally meant for

with out profits , but due to the in there own words depletion of the .co.uk `s

data base , org.uk`s are viewed as the same , nominet would be open to so many lawsuits for mis leading consumers they just could not afford to do that

the must defend .org.uk`s as they are the vendor of them , and any negativity towards them would impact there sales enough said

there is always scare mongering in business , you just got to have big round things
