Wanted: Domain Appraisal Pay Day UK

Hi,

Dont know what peoples views are on this one as its a .co with hyphen

PayDay-UK.co Brand it PayDay UK company

33,000 uniques hard market but i love a challenge

Ive never brought a hyphened domian before let alone on a .co?
and this is defo the last domain im buying

Personally I dont like the other country code tld's.
I dont think they are relevant unless your in the CC's country searching (I know you can set in Google webmasters the country for .com's, .co's etc..).

How many times do you see adverts on tv, in the media on the radio with a .co domain name or a .tl, .au, .nz, .ch, .li, .biz, .de or anything like that?
You are more likely to see .com, .co.uk and the odd .tv (for advertisers used for tracking the source of their customers).

Also the guys behind the real "pay day uk" might be a bit miffed if you started to use the domain name for your own loans website, the only real buyer for the domain name will be the "pay day uk" guys and I bet they wont want to pay much for it.

Anyways thats just my 2 pennith worth, good luck....

I differ on opinion of the .co im a fan: D and think they have their place and will prove it in a bigger way over the next couple of years (i have a number of .co) so I’m biased.

Reference Payday UK I’m not sure were that stands regarding trademarks as usual i didn’t look?

Ill brand it different incorporating the hyphen in the and end with company

I’m not really buying domains with large ambitions just targeting key words and unique, long term branding doesn’t really come in to any of my sites but your point is valid and taken on board.

I look maybe a little different at my purchases then some whom purchase the domain for resale, the value to me is keywords, page placement and revenue..

On domains like PayDay loans im only looking short term cash in whilst the hypes there, surely this type of loans business has a limited shelf life or atleast will be leaned on heavily in the long run? cash in now is my moto?

But that said i take every comment onboard being a newbie and value any and every comment.

so its now branded PayDay - UK Company nicer ring to it
