No time limit for seller to initiate transfer

I won a sedo auction about a month ago, paid immediately but still haven't recieved the transfer email.

I asked sedo a couple of days ago - "I have still not recieved the transfer email. How long do i have to give the seller before asking for a refund?"

Their response was this - "There is no time duration set on the seller's participating in the transfer. However, we will follow up with them to ask that the transfer is restarted."

So there is not set limit for a seller to start the transfer - i could still be sat here next year in the same position and sedo won't do anything about it...
 
Hi , that's sounds like a very strange answer you got! Surely there must be a point in time if the seller is not responding to emails that they cancel the arrangement and refund your payment
 
there must be something like "within a reasonable period" that must cover this kind of thing - i cant imagine European law lets this kind of behaviour go uncontrolled ;)
 
Would be nice to hear from sedo on this as to why there is no time limit?
 
I see sedo have been online over the last couple of days but not replied! Would be nice to get some clarification from them...
