Wanted: Website Review New Website

We have just launched our new portfolio site www.stylescreative.com

It's a simple custom wordpress template, enabling us to easily showcase projects that we are working on. There are still a few tidy ups, however we have been meaning to get a new site live for ages!

some nice looking sites on there mate..if i could give one comment...

the laptopesque background at the top is harsh against the white background, i would use your logo and duplicate it and put a slight slant on it and use this is your background (with a fade)

Some cracking sites on your site though....i know i cant be motivated to build my own site because i dont get paid for it

@deliajen - Thanks for the comments! The laptop background is a bit dark, I'll have a word with our designer. I was thinking of having a random background image load, but this might make the site look to busy.

@khalid - Yes we noticed this too yesterday after launch. It's meant to be a responsive design and adapt to different resolutions etc. Our developer hasn't finished this yet... but we wanted to get it live. Will get it fixed ASAP.

@WealdDomains - Really not sure what you mean by "UUGAAICM500000GBP"?

It's fine, but if you are trying to sell a particular service, I would think very hard about key selling points / USPs / benefits / what you offer over anyone else, then crystallise that down into a few bullet points, and put that content in a very prominent position the home page.
