if you had 12 seo experts in the room eact one would tell you theres is best.

I dont give away 9 years hard graft for nothing and i dont follow the sheep with what im doing so hope that answers your questions.

there is 101 ways of getti8ng onto front pages of the search engines. and evryones code and design is diffrent.

yes i know the alt tags ect not been added and all that crap but at this time of the project those are last bits to be added while still working on design and backend.

it would be good from and seo point of view if you want to list some of your sites and ranking so can compare how we are doing against them

I would have to agree with Ben, IMO it is not a seo friendly URL, also you have no heading tags in the html in the example links, <h1><h2> etc, these are important for seo, also it seems your sites are built using tables for layout which is not what tables are designed for.

Also I wouldn't use an xhtml doc type as it is causing about 80% of the 176 html validation errors in your b&b site, if you use an xhtml doctype you have to structure your document properly, you should use html 4.01 transitional, its a lot more forgiving.

the system allows you the end user to click and add what you want.

DK, you are right in saying "seo experts" do not always agree on what is good seo, but there are some hard and fast rules when it comes to google indexing, I work for a large media company doing front end and seo is a massive part of our work, we also have google come to our office to give us training.

Anyway,there is no such thing as an seo expert, you either know how to build well formed html documents or you don't, the browser reads the document and if it is well formed with all the right elements it will index you higher, there are of course other factors like quality incoming links e.t.c

What you mean by giving away 9 years graft I am not sure, if you mean telling us your seo secrets I'm ok, my knowledge is up to date thanks.

Adding alt tags and "all that crap" as you say, is not crap, If you are trying to parse your document as xhtml then they are required so are self closing tags on <br> like this <br/>.

I have viewed your source code and you are using tables <td><tr><table> these are table tags, you are maybe using a php backend to build them but it is still tables, tables should only be used for tabular data such as forms and well, tables.

I am not denying your sites have good rankings, they may well do, I am just pointing out that your code is not particularly well formed for seo purposes, also I have no need to compare sites that I have built with yours.

Since you have not seen the backend of the system and dont thknow the features it has then its a waste of time discussing it with you.

But I would like to see one of your sites for ranking purposes and lets see how good your code is.

also the sites are build in php and also maybe you dont know this but table but when building sites that have lots images on front and info building with tables allows the sites to laod faster.

and if you site does not downloaded within 3 to 7 seconds you can forget about people viewing your site.

At the end of the day all can say is you do what you do and i will continue to do what i think is best for my business.

You are talking milliseconds, and this is not a valid excuse for using out of date coding techniques.

At the end of the day all can say is you do what you do and i will continue to do what i think is best for my business.

whats point getting hundreds of thousands of hits and not earning a penny.

I would rather have 20 visitors to my sites and earn than have 100.000 hits bringing in nothing.
