The Property Services Agency used to be a government agency that is now not in existence but consequently gets thousands of searches globally. These addresses would be ideal for anyone involved in the construction industry.

The expression gets 260 global searches a month, not "thousands". I believe you'll really struggle to find a buyer at any pricepoint.

I agree with edwin,

I dout you will ever find a buyer on Here for any of those domains.

You need to drop the TM's

Wizard

I agree Wizard/Edwin, maybe not on here, that is why I tried but working in the construction industry I think I may have a chance. I was just seeing how many people would have been aware of it outside of the industry as it is very well known within it.

Edwin, according to the Keyword section on Google Adwords "Property Services Agency" does get thousands of searches monthly. As said I am new to this so maybe you have a more reliable reource for finding this info?

Thanks David that is very useful to know. I still think over 5000 for a broad search per month is good and over a couple of hundred for the UK as an exact phrase would be useful for a costruction company offering services similar to the old PSA.

Hey jonesyd01,

If you review the threads in the introduction sectors you will rarely find another thread with so many comments as this one. Take heed of the advice!

This forum is not one where the members guess at what could and what could not make money, they have years of experience in every sector of this industry. All over this forum you will find people asking for advice and learning from the mass of varied opinions on this site.

You really need to listen to them, TM's are a big no and the fact that you will have this thread ranked in Google means you will never be able to argue lack of knowledge (Not that that would help), they will bounce you and that will cost you thousands. If you want to push the boat out and ignore the advice keep regging these TM's. Macmini.co.uk is free, great exacts, you could add that to your list:)

I am from the construction industry and your domains are worthless, step back and think about what you are being told. Broad search - i suggest you review exactly how broad search estimates its value before you assume it is good. Search world wide broad search for "crap toilet" 6600 results, does not mean that it is any good. In fact its crap

If you went to a lawyer and he advised you the points of law, would you ignore him? This site is an accumulation of some of the most successful and experienced domainers in the UK. Instead of digging your feet in listen, review and investigate.

Paste this in google "allinurl:propertyservicesagency" 3 results! Only 3 results in the world, I have just narrowed your potential buyers list:)

I'm not going to get involved in childish behaviour such as this.

I earn a decent salaty and have accrued savings that am investing in different ways to invest. I am not in this to make huge profits as that would be a serious mistake as I am genuinely new to registering domain names.

With regards to the TMs, Apple would have to prove the level of damages caused by a site that is not live or parked to cost me thousands. If anything such domain names promote their products as this thread proves. However, I take on board what everyone has said so with that in mind if a director from Apple contacted me saying that they wanted these domain names deleted I would happily hand them over to Apple free of charge. Companies do not generally go straight for the lawsuit (that is a costly exercise), they would make contact first and if that was the case I would comply 100%.

I came on to this forum to learn and I have learned that the best way to sell the propertyservicesagency domanin names is direct through my own contacts not via a public forum. I was trying to get an idea of value before I did this but I am not going to this from this forum it appears, which is fair enough. Propertyservicesagaency is a good name for those in the know and I doubt you arein the construction industry as you would know this (but I am not going to get into a petty argument as to whether or not you are). I have only registered 4 domains so I am not going to lose much if none sell (that's why I was looking for advice before I bought more) so we will see.

Thank you all for your time all of your advice.

I would like to make it clear that I have no content on these wesites, I don't intend to market us Apple's TMs and am looking to sell the name only to official resellers.

Thanks

Don't know why you bothered asking then Dale (your WHOIS makes it very simple for Apple to send their legal letters ;)) - you have a typical case of 'buyer blindness' and obviously know better.

We'll all say 'told you so' when you get sued.

Good Luck! :D

They come down heavy on those foolish enough to register such TM's because it saves them money in legal costs. They sue you for a few grand and then it is listed all over Google that you were sued. The next beginner comes along, reads it and does not reg it...he learnt the lesson before getting spanked and hey presto Apple save money.

"New to this advice please" was your opener - you have the advice and you choose to ignore it. Not only that you argue that we are all wrong and you are right. Sounds to me like you are on a one way road and thought this forum would get you a quick sale, stroke your ego and make a success of you virgin investment.

Click here How can you claim it was an innocent mistake when you are now ranked in google with this forum advising you that they will sue:)

You got your trousers pulled down and your arse spanked and now you are sulking:)

I'm not commenting on the legality of a domain with the name of a Apple product in it. But I just googled "iPhone 5" and the very first (organic) result is that of a site with that term in its domain name, but the site is not affiliated in any way with Apple.

As a matter of fact, the link to his Disclaimer notice stating his dissociation with Apple is prominently displayed...

You may have noticed in another thread that I intend on deleting the questionable domains after they have been paid for by the registra to Nominet. The arguement of affecting the integrity of legitimate domainers sold it to me plus it is far better having your own strategy for finding domain names that could be commercially attractive as I am now slowly buildina small portfolio of carefully chosen domain names.
