I've just become a Nominet member and TAG holder and am about to have a go at registering domain names for the very first time via the automaton.

Is there any windows software available that can be run from the desktop that will construct the email templates needed for the automaton?

I have quite a long list of currently free domain names that I would like to register and to manually create a PGP signed email template for each domain name will be time consuming.

I've tried registering a domain name by sending a PGP signed Request template where I try to specify Namedrive's DNS server details but it comes back with an error V143 saying Nameserver ns1.fastpark.net does not exist.

This is the email I am sending (I've changed the details for security reasons):

operation: request
key: domainname.co.uk
dns0-id: ns1.fastpark.net
dns1-id: ns2.fastpark.net
account-name: My Company Limited
type: LTD
co-no: 123456
addr: 1 High Street
city: Leeds
county: West Yorkshire
postcode: L1 2AB
country: UK
a1-name: My Name
a1-email: [email protected]

What I am doing wrong?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Jay

Have they let you out on parole or have you escaped?

How's the EPP coming along?

Thanks Jay, all okay now and I can register names.

Many thanks

Richard
