New Nominet drop catching flaw exposed

Looks like the cheating little bastards are not only abusing systems but creating new tags left right and center because they cant compete with skill... So they use as many tags as possible to compete.

Lets face it... you can't compete, your shit at coding... you buy your code from other people and you create loads of tags to compete... Know im going to do everything in my power to expose you for what you really are.

Buy at your own risk, they are fake tags... Nominet have been made aware about them and also made aware of how they chase and how they can identify in the logs that they are fake tags

Im going to start calling out the cheating greedy bastards operating the tags soon

What i will say is Nominet are not playing games anymore, they are sick to death of all the bullshit hence why they are just acting straight away... If you look at there actions over the past month they have gone straight to the point and im happy that they have... If you cant catch a domain from Skill and from writing "Good Code" then dont fucking compete... Dont go and create 20 tags and stick them in sync to compete because you will be exposed and when shit hits the fan you will be the ones crying about it

Im inches away from revealing who ive been talking about in this thread and who ive reported to nominet in great detail...

What happened with the .uk domain hijacking situation damaged trust in the whole .uk namespace

Dropcatching is isolated, no registrants contracts being broken and no direct victim (though it is taking away opportunity)

Ben is clearly doing something that shouldn't be possible to catch all the names he does so I don't know how he can complain

@Murray because im not cheating, im using "Good Code" and if you know what your doing then can achieve the same, i cant be doing that well when i missed every domain yesterday also missed t2.uk and holidayinsurance.co.uk and now charlie.uk to the cheating bastards.

"Good Code" can compete to a certain level but then people abusing systems and cheating with multiple tags in sync clearly "code and skill" cant compete with that which the results speak for themselves

And when i expose the little pricks for what they have been doing along with who they are... Lets see what you all have to say about it then because i have SOLID proof they have been doing this since the start of the year so imagine who many domains they stole form under your feet when all along they was cheating you and abusing nominets systems

Then selling domains on via fake profiles and also to their own customers who "Backorder" them with them

If i looked at their account and see they specifically use the tools we gave them and the quota we gave them then yes i would say well done for working with what you have to work with...

in most Sports such as F1 for example you tend to see Hamilton get poll position a lot of the time, Why? Because he has a better vehicle, better skills and better mechanics.... However, they all have to stick to the regulations and guidelines... it just means one team can perform better than the other because they use better skills.

I don't know anything about coding no

The basic understanding I have is you ask Nominet if the domain is available throughout a period of time using set quota, at some point they say yes it is available (or it's been registered by someone else if you're late), you send a create command and if you're the first you get the domain

To have an advantage you need to either need to have more quota, ask at shorter intervals, communicate with Nominets system faster

You shouldn't have more quota than anyone else so it should just come down to speed? so are you able to catch the volume you're catching purely because your system communicates with Nominet faster?

That doesn't seem like it should be possible

Other things that you could know that would help would be drop order and time of drop, or at least an indication of either that others wouldn't know

If you did have some reliable indication a domain was dropping just before it did you could burst create commands over a small period instead of constant checking over hours

Would that be there in a fair system though? some early indication that isn't designed to be there but is

I sold a domain to one of those tags on Monday! Released the domain without waiting for payment as I'm lazy, probably won't be seeing that money then...

Its not my job to put you straight, you should do you own research, all i can say is i have solid proof what a set few individuals are up to... yes they beat me of course they will because they are cheating and abusing the systems so its obvious certain people will beat us all

My guess is that @Hay has got his server close to Nominet's (legal), has crisp coding (legal) and uses no more than his allotted quota (legal). On any day, he may target a dropping premium domain by giving more of his quota to poll that domain. As he says, he doesn't get everything by any means.

I don't think he has figured out a pattern to when a domain may drop, but as the day goes on, he can probably dynamically (via coding) focus his remaining quota on any undropped names he is after.

Personally, I am grateful @Hay is calling out these cheats. There aren't many decent domain names floating around nowadays so anything to remove illegalities is appreciated.
