Wanted: Website Review new mag site (whitelabel)

Hello all.

As some of you know, I've been working on some magazine related websites.

One of my recent domain purchases has been turned into the following site, how do you think it looks?

Great looking site and name Mally, like the colours and the clean and uncluttered layout which makes the magazine covers really stand out, good work mate... may want to change the logo alt tag.

Looks pretty good, at first glance. You might want to look at shortening the URLs of some of the sub-pages and the individual magazines to give more prominence to the magazine name within the URL - could help with SEO...

Its not so much the URL's eg:

http://www.subscribe.co.uk/magazine/motoring-transport/cars/evo

Its the Title Tag's that needs changing from eg: evo | subscribe

to

evo subscription

or even better:

evo magazine subscription


I'd hazard a guess if you looked at the GKWT you'd agree.


BTW - I really like the site. very clean and friendly to use

Very nice white label - it doesn't look like a white label unlike a lot of other sites do . Agree with the comment about page titles if it is possible for you to get them changed.

For others who have asked, think it is run using ThreePM.

Urghhh... a white label you say??

You're going to need to be adding in some lovely unique content then of your own if you want a chance of ranking it successfully. Oh, and dont forget lots of good quality links

Whitelabels are fine for PPC or to be used by sites with loads of existing content and links as a supplementary channel....

of course if you are already on the case then all is good

Thanks for your comments guys, its appreciated.

The WL is via Magazine-Group however they only have a couple set up.

I'm not sure if I can get the titles tags changed to assist with SEO, but Its definately something I'll ask. Your right I should be aiming for the subscription keywords as I want people to subscribe and not be looking for pic's.

I've added it as a separate shop on Magazine Subscription so most of the initial traffic will come from there..
