Hi Chaps,

I am pondering which of these cars to buy, and cant make my mind up. What would you go for?

Chris,

Could'nt see a Honda so I chose the next best thing Audi

if it's family, I would go 4/5 door, to avoid having to keep flipping seats forward etc.

Audi everytime especially with that 3.0 diesel engine, it's meant to be awesome. AND people will let you out of junctions, unlike in the beemer!

None of the above.
The last big car I owned, lost me £22K in three years and it cured me.

Now I drive a Citroën Berlingo Multispace, which costs nothing to run.
The money goes on a house in Spain.

Id go for the Audi A6 out of all them.

I would go for the bmw in a straight 6 model though.

I currently have a BMW 328CI Coupe and im loving that

Buy a 2CV a cool retro pink with fluffy dice!

If all else fails buy the Audi!

audi audi audi

Audi all the way... but then again FCdomains has the right idea too ;) we have a berlingo and it returns 60mpg with a magic magnet and a tweek, we got the new audi Q7 s line and it has the new diesel lump, returns 35 so you should get 40+ in the car body, it is even better than the old one... you could put the 3.0 tdi in a tank and it would still pull away quicker than a porsche!

So rah rah audi... wait till after sept in the UK before you buy as the prices drop like a brick after the new reg is out!

On another note.... contract hire is the way, new car every year, no lost £22k and free road tax! :-D

BMW for me all the way. Had many many cars but no more reliable than my Beemers and I now have a 4.6is X5.

:p Whatever it takes to get in bed with Sedo ;)

Hi Chaps,

Thanks for all the info and advice. Went for a car that wasn't on the list. Got a Range Rover Sport 4.2 V8 Supercharged Auto, wanted something fast and auto as i do a lot of driving (plus i am lazy :)). Dreading the fuel bill, but money is there to be spent:rolleyes:!

I've got a 6 month old passatt, good family car, big boot, comfortable and well built.

Had a Renault Clio run into back of me last week, on the Clio damaged bonnet, both wings, both lights, radiator, I ended up with a scratch on my bumper.

One complaint is that the 1.9 diesel engine is underpowered for the size of the car.
