I am looking for someone who can catch a .net domain for me.

Domain is dropping on the 26th of May.

Please PM if you can do this for me and what the costs are.

Thanks

You could place backorders with snapnames, pool, namejet etc.

Hopefully not telling you things you dont know..
Been a year or two since I've looked at catching .com/net/org domains but I'm sure it is worth checking out what registrar it is at as some have affiliation with snap/namejet pool etc and the domain will def go to one of those. Some are made available as prerelease so def worth checking as it may never drop if is of interest to someone else. Additionally with namejet if you place a booking at the very last minute then you are not showing your bid to others as the pending delete bid status will dissapear or at least it used to meaning you could snipe your order then hope they catch.

Also of note some registrars will advertise it in a dropping domain auction on there site examples of this are "name","godaddy" etc where you can pay for it prior to dropping and aslong as it is not renewed or contested by the original owner within a set period of time you would get it.

Of course if you dont want to pay more than a registration fee then your options are limited.

If the domain is deleting, then the registrar doesn't matter.
Of course, you need to read the whois record correctly to determine if it's prerelease or deleting.

Perhaps you will even be able to snap it yourself, it is also possible that a dropcatcher could snap it for you but there will be no auction if you are the sole bidder and you'll pay around $60.

So it depends on how valuable the domain is to you. Other registrars like Dynadot or name.com also offer backorders but they are quite weak compared to the heavyweights like Snapnames or Namejet. If the domain is any good, expect a bit of competition.

Have it now booked at 5 different places including Name.com, Pool etc..

The domain would only appeal to a limited market so let's hope I get it for a decent price :)

Fingers crossed

Didn't get the name, it seems it was renewed at the last minute or caught as it is now pointing to a Network solutions landing page.

Better luck next time :)
