Wanted: Website Review Need a review + extra question ;)

Simple travel site:

lagoon(dot)org(dot)uk

(sorry for not linking, I have my reasons )

Now, site is WP based, affiliate but the company provided plugin and initial themes to work with XML feeds, which makes it semi-white label. Just took me short time to adjust some CSS, template and generate very simple logo.

What do you think of it?

Now the second question. How much added value do you think a site like this gives to a domain? E.g. there is only one ref to be changed in the whole setup a buyer gets a fully working aff setup.

I won't comment on the theme/structure as it is pretty much standard except for the colours (as you mentioned).

Not a fan of the logo though, the font and clipart doesn't look professional.

How much added value do you think a site like this gives to a domain?

Currently nothing as it hasn't really been developed and it's a very thin affiliate website (there is nothing which adds value to a visitor and most domainers could create something similar within an hour).

Are you putting a website up to make it easier to sell the domain rather than keep it? If so, you would probably do better by spending time putting up a few pages of unique content and building some links to get the domain indexed.

Thanks. I was expecting to hear something similar... Logo, huh, I did't even click on the Photoshop for that.

The idea is to create semi-thin aff sites for sale. This one is almost completely based on what was on offer from the merchant.

What I want to do is:

Redevelop the WP theme into something more original with proper graphics, etc.
Pull some content from the merchant + add some unique
Give some of my clean links (PR5-PR4)
Sell...

dont see how the lagoon name relates to a holiday site, the org ext confirms this for me, personally dont see how this will be worth anything, like mentioned before an hour with this affiliate plugin on a better domain name would be worth more.

Exact might be better, but somehow this one gets type-in traffic... Don't know why, to be honest...
