Please get in touch if you're willing to catch a name for me on Wednesday July 15th. It's an 8-letter word beginning with "h" if that helps you work out whether you're already going for it or not. Willing to pay a decent fee for a successful catch (but I'm not going to go blindly forward i.e. I need to know the cost BEFORE it's caught).

Thanks.

If it ends in "k", I think most will be after it.

They must be truly mental if they let that drop , it might be worth a shot giving them a phone call to see if they want to sell before it drops.

I called them last week and the phone number "cannot be recognised". After doing some digging the company has a proposal to be struck off the register at companies house and it seems the business itself has gone. Looks like it's up to the catchers.

I have just found the address of the director, unfortunately he lives in America and the company secretary is a dormant company. My best guess would be to try to find out who the administrators are, but it would be a long shot. I think contacting them before the domain drops is out of the question :( - At least it explains why such a good name is going. Good luck to anyone who catches it, it would be nice if it at least belonged to someone on the forum.

@ Alex, there is another website with the same domain registration details and company number as the dropping domain, so being the same company, they should be approachable about the name. I would call them myself, but my landline is unuseable at the moment due to a line error , got BT coming out tomorrow, I might email them about it today though.

Whoever helped it must apply for a monetary bonus from Nominet within their keepyour.co.uk campaign..

If a person/org owns just one name, then you can believe there's a chance it'll drop. But as soon as you see they own more than one, there's something that makes you think they're more clue'd up.

True. But sometimes owning a large portfolio makes it hard to manage.

Years ago I caught a name not renewed by a large portfolio holder.. Whether on purpose or not, it seems his other names are renewed well in advance. But this domain somehow slipped through and it constantly attracts interest, with offers reaching 5 figures already..

You never know.
