Hi all,

Have been working on greecebreaks.co.uk for a while and it is almost finished.

Still a few bits needed to be added and lots more content to go live but it's getting there.

Would really appreciate some feedback.

Well done mate... this really is a nice site to kickoff with as your first effort!

Agree, you need at least 300 words per page of focussed unique content imho to take your site from thin feed driven affiliate site to an actual resource.

Focus on proper destination specific content/guides... useful stuff. I'd also be tempted to make your feed search results non crawlable to avoid falling into any dupe content issues and also cloak your affiliate redirects better so upon manual inspection its not screaming "Affiliate"

Now you just need lots of quality links for all that lovely content your going to get and you'll be making a nice tidy sum in no time

I'm in awe of some of the websites I'm seeing of late! Top work bensd

I love Corfu .... go on my hols to Dassia every two/three years.

It was the description in the travel brochure at the time that really sold it to me along with night time pictures of the bay and the Liston arcade. It was a rich/romantic/relaxed review of Dassia and Corfu town ..... and the food reviews made me really hungry!!! JMOT has hit the nail on the head re destination specific content. Don't underestimate the use/power of pictures to sell imho.

really like that, very nice first effort (actually better than all my efforts ever)

does need some work to blend in the menu pages (hotels and flight search etc), a little blank shall we say at the moment and doubt they would convert well tbh.

very much interested in seeing the final version

Looks great mate, try to add extras such as airport transfers, event passes, attraction offers etc and really sell a package to cover all bases and increase commission.

Perhaps you could ask for an email address to download a recommendations book as a way of pushing extras?

I planned to add a lot more content anyway, will take on board some of the ideas/suggestions.
