I've found a couple of me.uk's that might be dropping in a few weeks, cpc's and exact search volumes for each below, the bottom one in particular would make for a nice affiliate site, although it's in a very competetive market, just wondering if they would be worth booking for catches as they are me.uk's, but then again, considering the search volumes, or just give them a complete swerve? I'm really in 2 minds about it at the moment after doing some me.uk research on here using the search function, apparently they are ok for affiliate based sites, hmmm:

*****.me.uk = £5.25 - 18,100 + £2.35 - 1,900
*****.me.uk = £3.24 - 60,500

If there arnt many results in google and you think you can quickly and easily rank at the top then go for it!

But I wouldnt want to put to much effort into a me.uk site.

Catching .me.uks to me it's not worth it at £30 - £40 per catch

The exacts on the first defintely not worth it, the other one is ok.

I have .co.uks on my FTR list with 90k exacts, just not got money to reg everything i see, i say do some more research and find .co.uks with 30k + exacts.

What happened with the city ? .org.uk with 1 million population, did you go for it ?

Andy :cool:

There are quite a few results for the exact term in "":

Results 1 - 10 of about 813,000 for "*****" (the web)
Results 1 - 10 of about 360,000 for "*****" (pages from the UK)

It's a very active market so I'm not sure how it would rank, but I do have a full affiliate store in this area I could redirect it to, maybe I'll just book the one with the 60,000 exacts and see how it goes.

Someone else got it: http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/new-domainers/51004-overseas-geo-names-org-uk-2.html#post185320 :(

If you were going to develop them yourself, then I'd say yes. However, people seem a lot more hesitant to buy a .me.uk because they're supposed to be for individuals only (and businesses aren't allowed to register them at all). So, if you were thinking about selling them on, unless they are really good, it might not work out for you.

Rgds

After some thought, i have decided to leave them and not bother trying to catch, thanks to the person who offered to try and catch them for me for free, your offer was much appreciated, but as per my PM, I don't think with my site making skills that I could do justice to the domains, apart from redirecting them to white label sub domain affiliate sites, thanks to all for the advice.

@ DoubleTap, sorry mate, I gave them to the person who offered to try catching them for me, if he doesn't want them himself, he might post them here.

The other person didn't want them, but they might be of interest to someone, these are the 2 names:

freewebhosting.me.uk = £5.25 - 18,100 + £2.35 - 1,900
mobilephonedeals.me.uk = £3.24 - 60,500

There were a couple of others as well:

domainhosting.me.uk = £7.01 - 8,100
emailhosting.me.uk = £5.36 - 9,900
