I once lost 2 stone in 2 months. I think at time I was doing 5 spin classes per week (HIIT training brilliant post workout burn) full body weights x3 per week ( needed to avoid muscle loss if calorie restricted plus added muscle will burn more calories at rest). Diet: ditch all white carbs/ sugar. Watch for hidden carbs in your favourite foods. With carbs it's all about the insulin ( fat storage hormone) release, so the slower the release the better ie the gi rating. Low gi carbs in morning and pre workout only... Rest of time lots of protein, shakes at bf, preworkout, post workout, bedtime slow release casein protein. Don't neglect your good fats eg almonds/ avacados/ extra virgin olive oil. Eating fat doesnt make you fat!! Just watch calories with fat as is 9kcal/g whereas protein/carbs are 4. Eats lots of steak, eggs, chicken. Big salads for evenin meals with your steak/chicken. Use caffeine/ tyrosine preworkout. Creatine, DAA, beta alanine good weights stacks. Try either calorie cycling or carb cycling ( latter more for bodybuilding). Basic fundamentals are you need to be a deficit to lose body fat ( calories in vs calories out) Fluctuating calories is great for fat loss. One day eg 2500, then 2 days low at 1500 and repeat etc... I could go on for hours... Not an expert, but i'm a dedicated bodybuilder and train 8-9 times a week!! been as low as 4.25% bf measured with callipers
